Ron Brown Prep Program 2017 Bridge Internship Application

This summer, Hughes, Hubbard and Reed, Paul Hastings and the legal department of AXA Equitable Insurance will be hiring bridge interns who are matriculating at a law school for the fall 2017 semester.  The exact start and end dates and salaries will be determined by each employer.  All internships will be in Manhattan, unless otherwise indicated.

The selection process proceeds as follows:

1.  Interested candidates must submit this application form and upload the following required documents by the deadline, Wednesday, April 19th, 2017.

  • Cover Letter addressed to Professor Elaine Chiu, St. John's University School of Law, 8000 Utopia Parkway, Jamaica, NY 11439
  • Current Resume
  • Writing Sample (limited to less than ten (10) pages; can be an excerpt)
  • Personal Statement for Law School Application
  • Diversity Statement for Law School Application
  • Current Unofficial College Transcript

2.  After a review of the applications, Professor Chiu and the employers will select some candidates to move onto the interview phase.  These interviews will be in person for local candidates or by Skype for the non-local candidates and they will occur from 1 pm to 5 pm EST, on Monday, April 24th, 2017 at the downtown offices of Hughes, Hubbard & Reed.
