2020 Ronald H. Brown Summer LSAT Boot Camp Application

St. John's University School of Law | Ron Brown Center & Prep Program | Full-time


The Summer LSAT Boot Camp is open to students who have a cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least 75 college credits as of June 1, 2020.

You must submit this application form and upload the following required documents by the deadline, which has been extended to--February 28th, 2020:

  • Resume (maximum 2 pages): Please attach a résumé that includes any scholastic honors and awards that you have received. Also highlight significant work experience plus extracurricular and community activities in which you have been involved.
  • Request Official Transcript: You may initially submit an Unofficial Transcript upon application. See more instructions below.
  • Writing Sample: Limited to less than ten (10) pages; can be an excerpt.
  • Personal Statement (2-4 typed pages): Please tell us about yourselfyour interest in the law, and any cultural, economic, physical or educational disadvantage that you (or your immediate family) have overcome.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation: Preferably at least one from a faculty member. Should be able to speak to your academic capabilities.

***Please upload all materials in PDF format in this application. Label each PDF file with your name and the type of document in the following format: Last Name, First Name - Document Type. (e.g., Smith, John - Resume).***

***Official Transcript Request: Upon submission of the application and these documents, you will receive a confirmation email and a Grade Release Authorization form.  Please print out the form and give to your college's Registrar's Office so they can send us your official college transcript.  We must receive your official transcript by February 28th, 2020.

***If you need financial assistance, you must complete a separate application to apply for financial assistance. The deadline for this application is the same: February 28th, 2020.***

***Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission to this program. All materials, including your Official Transcript, must be submitted by the stated deadline above.***
